That’s Weird: Why Did Pelosi Just Remind Us She’s Second In Line For The Presidency?

(Tea Party 247) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi very weirdly just reminded the public that she’s second in line for the presidency as Speaker of the House and insisted that President Donald Trump is leaving the White House “whether he knows it yet or not.”

That doesn’t sound completely conspiratorial at all, does it?

Speaking with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday, the Speaker was reacting to Trump’s interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace which aired on Sunday.

In the wide-ranging, utterly entertaining interview, Wallace pressed Trump on whether or not he would accept the results of the election, to which Trump replied “we’ll have to see,” considering how likely it is that the election could be compromised.

The left, naturally, pounced and clutched their pearls, as they can’t admit that he has a very good reason to doubt the outcome of the election: the last guy, who happens to have had Trump’s opponent as his VP, tried to rig the darn thing last time!

“I have to see. Look … I have to see,” Trump told Wallace. “No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.”

The Biden campaign responded: “The American people will decide this election. And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.”

Oh, did that apply the last time around, Joe?

“The fact is whether he knows it yet or not, he will be leaving,” Pelosi declared on Monday.

“Just because he might not want to move out of the White House doesn’t mean we won’t have an inauguration ceremony to inauguration a duly elected President of the United States,” she added, lacking any hint of self-awareness.

“And you know, I’m second in line to the presidency, just last week I had my regular continuation of government briefing,” Pelosi declared, hinting at the possibility that she would be sworn in as president if Trump and Vice President Mike Pence both refused to concede the election by January 20 of next year were they to have lost the election.

“This might interest you because I say to them, this is never going to happen, God willing it never will, but there is a process,” she said.

BizPac Review notes:

The “process” Pelosi referred to apparently would allow Trump to be “fumigated” out of office if need be.

“It has nothing to do with the certain occupant of the White House doesn’t feel like moving and has to be fumigated out of there because the presidency is the presidency. It’s not geography or location so, so much for him,” she pompously added.

I wouldn’t spend so much time on it that’s a victory for him because then we’re not talking about your first, more important subject, which is, what are we going to do to stop this vicious virus that is making an assault on our health, again, our lives, our livelihood and life of our democracy,” she said.

Democrats including former Biden and failed 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton have been dropping commentary about Trump not accepting a loss in November, further spreading the election conspiracy among the Resistance.

“Well, I think it is a fair point to raise as to whether or not, if he loses, he’s going to go quietly or not. And we have to be ready for that,” Clinton told “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah last week.

Last month, Biden was sure the military would have to get involved to remove Trump from the White House. Asked by Noah on his show in June whether he had thought about the possibility of Trump refusing to leave office, the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee declared, “Yes, I have.”

“I promise, I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch,” he said.

As you can imagine, Pelosi’s combative words drew quite a bit of attention on Twitter:
