With Election Day Drawing Near Doomsday Preppers Like This Group Are Springing Into Action
(Tea Party 247) – It’s really time for complacent Americans to wake up. The tribulations the country is going through right now are things we’ve only ever seen on the news or in movies and TV shows in other countries. No one ever thought we would see the day when America’s democracy could very well collapse, yet, the day seems frighteningly near.
Most Americans have come to the realization that no matter the outcome of the coming presidential election on Nov. 3rd there will likely be social unrest and violence on a scale we haven’t seen yet and many are preparing for the worst.
The grim prospect of widespread civil unrest, riots, and violence after Election Day have prompted a chain of US survival communities to “activate” and open their doors for members to hunker down in bomb shelters where they will have access to all the weapons, ammo, and food they might need to survive a long-term period of lawlessness and anarchy in America.
A chain of U.S. survival communities plan to activate and open to members for the first time over fears of violence following the presidential election on Nov. 3.
Fortitude Ranch camps in West Virginia and Colorado will open on election day to protect members, the company’s October newsletter said. Regardless of whether Republican President Donald Trump or Democratic challenger Joe Biden wins the election, Fortitude Ranch expects possible “looting and violence” that could devolve into long-term, widespread clashes, the newsletter said.
Fortitude Ranch CEO Drew Miller said some on social media feared civil war, and he did not rule out the possibility.
“This will be the first time we have opened for a collapse disaster, though it may end up not being so,” said Miller in an emailed statement. “We consider the risk of violence that could escalate in irrational, unpredictable ways into widespread loss of law and order is real.”
Fortitude Ranch set up its first camp in West Virginia in 2015 and has two more in Colorado. For an annual fee of around $1,000, members can vacation at camps in good times, and use them as a refuge in the event of a societal collapse. Members are required to own either a rifle or shotgun to defend the communities. The company does not disclose membership numbers.
U.S. security officials have warned that violent domestic extremists pose a threat to the presidential election, citing rising political tensions, civil unrest and foreign disinformation campaigns. FBI and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memos said threats by domestic extremists to election-related targets will likely increase in the run-up to the election.
Fortitude Ranch describes itself as “a survival community equipped to survive any disaster and long-term loss of law and order,” and its actual location(s) are unknown to non-members.
“Fortitude Ranch is a survival community equipped to survive any type of disaster and long-term loss of law and order, managed by full-time staff. Fortitude Ranch is affordable (about $1,000/person annually) because of large numbers of members and economies of scale. Fortitude Ranch is especially attractive to join because it doubles as a recreation and vacation facility as well as a survival retreat. Members can vacation, hunt, fish and recreate at our forest and mountain locations in good times, and shelter at Fortitude Ranch to survive a collapse,” the company’s website said.
Currently, Fortitude Ranch has only two locations one in West Virginia and the other in Colorado but are planning to open ten more locations in the coming years. The goal is to create a nationwide network of doomsday bunkers.
If you think they sound crazy just think about how much has happened in 2020 alone that no one ever saw coming. The election is sure to bring unrest like we’ve never seen. Are you ready?
