You Won’t Believe What Police Have Done To St. Louis Couple Who Defended Their Home Against “Peaceful” BLM Protesters

(Tea Party 247) – The St. Louis, Missouri couple who made headline news for defending their home and themselves against a mob of Black Lives Matter “protesters” has had one of their weapons seized by police. We are truly living in a totally upside-down world, folks.

On Friday, Mark and Patricia McCloskey were served with a search warrant by St. Louis police officers at their home at which time the rifle seen in photos and videos last month was seized.

KSDK-TV reports:

Sources told 5 On Your Side that police seized one of the weapons, the rifle, from the couple and they told police their attorney has the pistol seen in photos.

5 On Your Side is not aware of any charges against the McCloskeys at this time, and the warrant served Friday evening was just for the guns.

Late Friday evening 5 On Your Side confirmed attorney Al Watkins was no longer representing the McCloskeys, and that attorney Joel Schwartz had taken over. Schwartz confirmed a search warrant was issued at 8 p.m. Friday night, but would not say what was taken from the home. Schwartz also said he does not know where the handgun is.

Schwartz told 5 On Your Side he does not believe charges are warranted against the McCloskeys and that he hopes to meet with St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s office next week, but that there is no official appointment at this time.

The protestors, of course, claim that they were “peaceful” but we’ve all seen videos of what “peaceful” means to groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter. The mob had to break down a gate to gain access to the private community as they made their way to the home of St. Louis Mayor, Lyda Krewson.

The couple was given the opportunity to give their side of the story in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity earlier in the week.

“[They said] that they were going to kill us,” Patricia McCloskey said on Hannity this week. “They were going to come in there. They were going to burn down the house. They were going to be living in our house after I was dead, and they were pointing to different rooms and said, ‘That’s going to be my bedroom and that’s going to be the living room and I’m going to be taking a shower in that room.’”

“People were screaming everything,” Mark McCloskey said.

Since the original incident, protesters have returned to the historic neighborhood to harass and mock the McCloskeys who had been alerted they would be coming. The couple allegedly received death threats and has had no success in getting local law enforcement or city officials to do anything at all. Upon the mob’s return the McCloskey’s appeared to have hired armed guards to protect them and their property and who can blame them?

We can certainly understand the fear the McCloskey’s must have felt as they faced an angry shouting mob outside of their home. They didn’t threaten to shoot or kill anyone. They were only defending themselves but in 2020 you’re not allowed to defend yourself from aggressive “protesters.” The only thing you’re allowed to do is take it, whatever may come. Should you attempt to defend yourself or stand up for yourself, you will surely pay the unfair and absurd consequences.
