Fact Check: Is Trump to Blame for Racial Divide?
(RightWing.org) – The political left has been trying to undo Hillary Clinton’s loss in the 2016 presidential election by any means possible since it happened. Progressive liberals in the House of Representatives have launched a series of “investigations” centered on President Donald Trump and have even gone so far as trying to impeach him with their collusion-delusion.
Now, the death of a black man by the name of George Floyd at the hands of four white Minneapolis Police Department officers has caused them to shift into overdrive to leave the racial divide in America at the feet of the president and his supporters.

But is this justified? Is President Trump fueling racial division?
The mainstream (read: liberal) media has pushed the “Trump is a racist b***tard” party line since day one. Using his opposition to unfettered illegal immigration and his public questions about the birthplace of former-President Barack Obama when speculation arose that it may have been Kenya Africa instead of the state of Hawaii.
They also use the absence of an event as proof positive to support their contention. After the 2015 shooting of several Blacks in a Charlottesville, Virginia church, they insinuated that somehow by waiting 48 hours for some information to come in before denouncing it as the racist act that it was, that he “must” have condoned it.
We can contrast this with Obama’s actions of immediately fanning the flames of racial tension over the death of a Florida teenager by the name of Trayvon Martin. He immediately characterized this as the cold-blooded murder of a black child at the hands of a white man. However, once all the facts were in and the case proceeded through the judicial system, George Zimmerman was acquitted by a court of law.
What Trump Inherited
The truth of the matter is that the gulf between the races widened significantly between 2008 and 2016. That is to say, during the Obama administration. Scientific polls show that a significant percentage of American voters believed the United States was worse off in 2017 than it was in 2008 in respect to race.
One of the more egregious examples of the reason for this happened in the aftermath of the 2008 presidential election. In that case, two members of the radical left group, the Black Panthers, armed with billy clubs were lurking outside a voting precinct in Philadelphia preventing white people from entering.
This was a clear and direct violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 with at least some of the intimidation captured on video. The Department of Justice under Obama made a very convoluted argument for why they did not prosecute the case. Somehow, someway, two men with big sticks blocking a person’s pathway into the building just weren’t “intimidating enough” for them.
Considering that a Left-Fascist group has used a force of arms to capture a neighborhood in Seattle, which they are now calling CHAZ (Capital Hill Autonomous Zone), it is becoming more difficult to argue that the country is not in the midst of a second Civil War. And the liberals are working hard to make sure President Trump and his supporters take the blame for this in an effort to steal the White House come November. Factual history does not appear to support their contentions, however, that has never stopped them from pushing their agenda in the past, regardless of how steep the price the country pays.
