Unemployment Numbers Continue to Drop Under Trump Leadership
(UnitedVoice.com) – The COVID-19 pandemic did a number on the American economy. When states shut everything down to try to slow the spread of the virus, millions of workers lost their jobs, either temporarily or permanently. However, it’s starting to look like the country is bouncing back.
According to the US Labor Department, unemployment claims in the final week of September dropped by 36,000 from the week before.
For the 28th week in a row, the US initial unemployment claims have broken the 1982 record (695,000).
This week is marks the fifth consecutive week & sixth time overall since March that we've had less than one million jobs lost in a single week. https://t.co/xqSAyzEAXD

These are the lowest jobless numbers the country has seen since March when the economy started to feel the impact of the pandemic. President Donald Trump has been working to put the economy on the right track again and it looks like his policies are working. He’s promised to continue cutting taxes and getting rid of unnecessary regulations if he’s elected for a second term in November.
The goal is to get America back to record low unemployment numbers like we saw before COVID hit. Trump has done it once, there’s no reason he won’t do it again.
